5th POST ~ thoughts ~ (free theme post)

I was wondering what to write about on this second "free theme post" and I had problems to come with an idea but... I looked to my right side and saw a small little book I have, that's named Horacio Quiroga "his best stories". This book was given to me by the supervising teacher I had in the two last years of high school and I really appreciate that kindness of her. She was/is a veery good linguistics teacher, very responsible and also beautiful... I think I could say that I had like, kind off a close relation with her as a student, she really is a person and professional worthy of admiring. 

And thinking about that... those things are the kind of thing that leads me to kind off wish to be a teacher in the future. Teacher of teenagers mainly, because I know it's a hard phase most of the time, I would like to be that nice teacher that can made classes and school more enjoyable for the students and why not, maybe the teacher that could help them if they think that I could help them with what they need (things besides of the academics stuff) because I know we could not always ask to our parents about some things, for one reason or another... 

And I completely got off the idea I had at the beginning, I was going to talk about one of the stories that comes in the book. Maybe I'll be able to write about that in another post hehe.

    I read Horacio Quiroga when i was very very young, I don't remember much, but what I do remember is that he found his way of writing very trained, I had to read it several times at school

2nd POST ~ Why did I choose my major? ~

The first most important thing to say it’s that I’m studying Visual Arts… and... ”Why?” Because I’ve always been in love with drawing, painting, creating things by imagination and all kinds of activity related to those things… that would be all, I’ve never thought something further than that, I mean... I had had the knowledge about the history of Art and some artists in general, but that never was my principal motivation to study that.  Something I really really wanted to do as a child, was to be a comic illustrator and do that for a living… but I also always dreamed of working at a stationery store(? Or an Art store, I think that would be more accurate, I still think of that as an option because… why not? Heh (I don't have too high goals in general?).  Mmmm…I think if I hadn't chosen Visual Arts I’d have chosen something like Linguistics because I was in the Literature program (If I may say so) in the last two years of secondary, other options were were Illustration and 2D An...

8th POST ~ English language challenges ~

Learning English at the University has been a good experience so far, but it also has been a little bit weird because of the virtuality mode. I think that if I had had to go to a real classroom and all that, I would had participated more because that way I kind off feel more comfortable to do that kind of stuff. Having to write the blog posts was very challenging because I had to think how I was going to write in other language for a long amount of time straight and that’s hard, it gave me headaches at the beginning but then it started to be a little easier to do. Despite it was sort of a tedious thing to do, I think that it was (and it is) one of the best ways to build up a more complete vocabulary in general and   in order to learn to talk and express ourselves "more like us", so to speak. After all this time of having English classes (one more time after High school) I kind off forgot the structure of the   different verbal tenses, so I think that’s one of the things I...
