8th POST ~ English language challenges ~

Learning English at the University has been a good experience so far, but it also has been a little bit weird because of the virtuality mode. I think that if I had had to go to a real classroom and all that, I would had participated more because that way I kind off feel more comfortable to do that kind of stuff.

Having to write the blog posts was very challenging because I had to think how I was going to write in other language for a long amount of time straight and that’s hard, it gave me headaches at the beginning but then it started to be a little easier to do. Despite it was sort of a tedious thing to do, I think that it was (and it is) one of the best ways to build up a more complete vocabulary in general and  in order to learn to talk and express ourselves "more like us", so to speak.

After all this time of having English classes (one more time after High school) I kind off forgot the structure of the  different verbal tenses, so I think that’s one of the things I have to study more in order to improve. I also have to practice to speak English straight from my head, I think that the activities in classes (and the videos) helped me in some way, but there’s more to improve in that area, my older sister studied English pedagogy so I could ask her to talk in English to practice hehe.

I have an art account on Instagram and sometimes I write things in English there, but I think I’ll use it more in the future, no doubts that the fact I have this level and knowledge in English is going to be very useful for me.

A quote that I found and liked
